Employee Spotlight – Jason Van Heuvelen

Jason Van Heuvelen joined De Boer Baumann & Company just a couple years ago in 2019. For his education, Jason attended Grand Rapids Community College followed by Davenport University where he graduated with a BBA in Accounting. He made the President’s List in every semester at both GRCC and DU. Since joining DBC, he’s become an integral member of both the Tax Committee and the SALT group. Naturally, Jason loves his job, but his favorite part of working at DBC is the people he gets to work with and the atmosphere they create. Living in Michigan is almost as big a treat as working at DBC. Jason loves getting to have all 4 seasons every year and living near Lake Michigan is an added bonus. Jason has been married to his wife, Amanda, for seventeen years. He has three children, two boys and a girl. His sons are Dexter, age 8, and Oliver, age 5, while his daughter, Amelia, is 3 years old.
